Set Your Sales World On Fire

We all have to sell, at some point in our lives. It can be selling an idea to your boss like acquiring new equipment, or selling a marketing plan to your team. Sales are a critical aspect in our lives because you will also have to sell yourself at some point whether it’s for a school or job interview. Do we all have the sales gene ? No. What makes the sales gene anyway? Most people agree charisma is a big component of the sales gene. If you are charismatic, people will be attracted to what you’re saying, they will end up buying from you.

The good news is the sales gene does not fully determine your ability to sell. You can work on your charisma and selling skills through watching, training, practicing and experience. You can also check out effective training workshops such as Executive Presentation Skills to learn how to organize and deliver a presentation persuasively; and Professional Selling Skills which ensures salespeople rise to —and remain at —the top of their game.

Recently, I shared my thoughts on what it takes to be a successful salesperson. I explained this using a simple yet efficient acronym I put together—F.I.R.E. which stands for:

Foresight
Initiative
Resourcefulness
Enthusiasm

Watch this 60 seconds video to find out how you can use this acronym to set your sales world on fire and have a great week selling!
