Grandma’s 30 Year Old “House Rules”An Easy Delightful Read!

By Michael J Griffin

1 minute read

Annita Katee recently sent me a blog of the “house rules” her Australian 91 year old grandma named Gigi has used to provide direction to her extended family. As I read them, I thought they are good to follow to keep things “in order” at your home or back in the office.

Here are her “house rules:”

  1.  If you open it — close it

  2. If you turn it on — turn it off

  3. If you unlock it — lock it

  4. If you break it — mend it

  5. If you borrow it — return it

  6. If you use it — take care of it

  7. If you make a mess — clean it up

  8. If you move it — put it back

  9. If it doesn’t concern you — leave the bloody thing alone!

Her 10th rule is “Pass it on!” Thank you Grandma Gigi as we want to spread your legacy across the world to help all of us keep the environment we live in orderly and safe!
