The 2 Most Important Attitudes to Become a Successful Salesperson

How has this year of selling been for you? As we come to the end of the year, I reflect on the attitudes of the successful sales guru and one of my personal heroes, Jeffrey Gitomer.

A change in your attitude may very well ELAvate your sales success in 2016. As Zig Ziglar said, "Your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude."

The best salespeople have it in their heart and head that they truly want to help their customers and organisations to be better with their products.

  1. Believe in Your Product

As Jeffrey Gitomer said, “It’s not about selling. It’s about influencing the customer to buy”. In order to successfully influence your customer, you must first truly believe in your product.

Ingrain these 2 attitudes into your selling life in 2016 and enjoy the change they will bring. I shall end here with another great sales quote by William Clement Stone, "Sales are contingent upon the attitude of the salesman, not the attitude of the prospect."
