Very Interesting Research and a Global Overview of AI from IDC and Microsoft

This week’s ELAvate sales blog is a departure from normal. I thought I would share with you two overviews on the spread and impact of AI across the world. You have probably garnered that you as a sales manager or salesperson need to upskill yourself on using AI to up your personal productivity and for sales and marketing research purposes.

The first infographic I want to share is the usage of different AI platforms across the world. You can clearly see that ChatGPT is the winner in overall usage.

ChatGPT and Microsoft have a strong partnership that has led to the development of “Co-pilot” for use across Microsoft platforms including their MS Dynamics and CRM. My second choice for AI is Google’s Bard. Running questions or content through ChatGPT and Bard can give you different content and answers that can assist your productivity and research. You may want to research the other AI platforms in the infographic so explore how they support your productivity.

 

IDC has produced a very interesting report called “The Business Opportunity of AI” by Ritu Jyoti and Dave Schubmehl that spells out how leading organizations around the world are using AI to drive impact across every industry. This informative report clearly heralds the “Age of AI” is upon all of us and ignoring it is at your own competitive peril. You may download the this very informative report here.

 

The second research article is from Microsoft entitled “AI Use Cases for Business Leaders: Realise Value with AI.” Microsoft outlines cases of where AI has made a real tangible economic impact on businesses studied by Forrester Consulting. You can also download this study here.
